No fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill amends Section 779.007 of the Health and Safety Code to ensure that the automated defibrillator has been delivered by a licensed practitioner in the course of his professional practice. The bill also ensures that if the automatic external defibrillator is acquired for the purpose of sale or lease, the person or entity shall be in accordance with the applicable requirements found in Section 483.041 of the Health and Safety Code.
