HB177 by Bailey (Relating to provision of hot water service to residential rental units.), As Introduced

No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would require a landlord to provide a device to supply hot water, and a private bathtub or shower, and lavatory, which is connected to a cold and hot water source. Provisions of the bill could result in new complaints, investigations or cases by the Office of the Attorney General, but it is assumed that any additional costs associated with implementing the bill could be absorbed within existing resources.
 
This act takes effect September 1, 2007.
