No fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would authorize certain counties to regulate noise and sound levels, to issue permits for exceeding levels at events, to charge a fee for the permits to offset administrative costs, and to establish procedures for reducing the fee if an applicant is unable to pay the full fee. Violation of the noise and sound regulations would be a Class C misdemeanor.

No significant fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
