HB300 by Farrar (Relating to requiring warning signs regarding mecury levels in certain fish. ), Committee Report 1st House, Substituted

No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would require the Health and Human Services Commission to adopt rules relating to fish consumption advisories regarding mercury that fish retailers would be required to post in a readily visible location.

The bill would be effective September 1, 2007.

The Health and Human Services Commission estimates no significant fiscal impact from the bill.


Local Government Impact

No fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
