IN RE:
HB363 by Naishtat (Relating to the provision of case management services for children by the Department of Family and Protective Services.), As Introduced
No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.
The bill would amend various sections in Chapter 264 of the Family Code, and Chapter 45 of the Human Resources Code, to remove requirements for privatization of case management services currently provided by the Department of Family and Protective Services. There would be some administrative savings because the privatization initiative would be more limited in scope. However, these savings would not be significant.
Local Government Impact
No fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
