No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.
The bill would amend the eligibility requirements for automatic admission to institutions of higher education. The student would be eligible for automatic admission if the student was in the top 10 percent of the student's high school class if the student graduated from high school before the 2007-2008 school year or in the top 7.5 percent in the 2007-2008 school year or subsequent years. There would be no significant fiscal impact to the state.
