IN RE:
HB439 by Hochberg (Relating to the statewide plan for delivery of services to public school students with disabilities and resources for teachers of public school students with special health needs.), As Introduced

No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would require the Texas Education Agency to coordinate with the Health and Human Services Commission to maintain an Internet web site that provides resources for teachers of students with special health needs.

Local Government Impact

The bill would establish additional requirements for teacher training and assistance for teachers of students with disabilities.  School districts could incur costs associated with training, additional personnel, and additional Admission, Review, and Dismissal (ARD) committee meetings that could result from the provisions of the bill.
