IN RE:
HB573 by Gonzales (Relating to providing street lights in a subdivision in the unincorporated area of certain counties.), As Engrossed

No fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would authorize a commissioners court in a county that has any territory within 150 miles of an international border, by order, to provide for the establishment of street lights along a county road located in a subdivision. The order may include the imposition and collection of a fee on landowners in the subdivision, which would help offset costs.

Local Government Impact

No significant fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
