No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

Under the bill, a state agency, including institutions of higher education, is required to file with the Secretary of State for publication in the Texas Register notice of the agency's intention to enter into certain marketing or product development agreements. It is assumed that agencies will be able to implement provisions of the bill within current resources.

Local Government Impact

No significant fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
