No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would amend statute and authorize a judge of a statutory probate court to transfer a cause of action to another statutory probate court regardless of proper or mandatory venue in another county except as described in Section 15.007, Civil Practice and Remedies Code or in Section 123.005, Property Code. It is assumed that any additional costs related to implementing the provisions of the bill could be absorbed within existing resources.

The bill would take September 1, 2007.
