No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would direct the state climatologist to establish a global warming task force to assess global warming challenges and opportunities facing Texas. The global warming task force would present to the state climatologist findings relating to its assessments and the state climatologist would distribute the task force's findings to the governor and legislature.

Local Government Impact

No fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
