No fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would amend the Government Code, Chapter 81, relating to the recusal of certain persons from a grievance proceeding conducted by a panel of a district grievance committee of the State Bar of Texas.  The bill would require certain persons serving on grievance committees to recuse themselves under certain conditions and would provide for substitutes to serve in that person's place.  To the extent the bill would modify State Bar procedures for grievance committees, no fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.  The bill would take effect September 1, 2007.


Local Government Impact

No fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
