HB768 by Dutton (Relating to providing notice regarding certain actions proposed to be taken with respect to a community residential facility.), As Introduced

No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would amend the Government Code by adding a requirement that the Board of Pardons and Paroles or a vendor proposing to operate a facility shall post 30 days before the meeting, a copy of the notice at the entrance to the facility site and location where the public meeting will be held. The Texas Department of Criminal Justice has determined that the cost of implementing the bill would not be significant.
