No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The Texas Education Agency would be required to study and report recommendations to amend or repeal provisions in Subchapters B and C of Chapter 25 of the Education Code.  The agency assumes that a study would be contracted for an estimated $250,000.  This amount does not represent a significant cost to the agency.

Local Government Impact

No fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
