The bill would amend the Code of Criminal Procedure by providing that the statute of limitations for the offense of credit card or debit card abuse or the offense of fraudulent use or possession of identifying information would be five years from the date of the commission of the offense.
It is assumed that the bill would not significantly affect the operations of state or local government.
