HB960 by Herrero (Relating to a policy regulating the use of the textbooks required for certain courses offered by public institutions of higher education.), As Introduced

No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would require the governing board of each institution of higher education that offers courses in the core curriculum to adopt a policy regulating the use of textbooks required for the core curriculum. Higher education institutions would be able to implement provisions of the bill with existing resources.

Local Government Impact

No fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
