No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would require the Department of Information Resources to develop an Internet website accessible through Texas Online that would provide the public access to information relating to state grant assistance, including the name of each person receiving state grant assistance, the type of state grant assistance received by the person, the name of the state agency providing the assistance, and documents relating to state grant assistance.  

It is assumed that any additional duties and responsibilities associated with implementing the provisions of the bill could be absorbed within existing state resources.

No fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
