IN RE:	HB1034 by Riddle (Relating to the pledge of allegiance to the state flag.), As Engrossed

No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would add the words, "state under God" to the pledge of allegiance to the state flag.

The bill would take effect immediately upon receiving a two-thirds majority vote in both houses;
otherwise, the bill would take effect September 1, 2007.

Local Government Impact

No significant fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
