IN RE: | HB1059 by Parker (relating to an immunization awareness program in certain school districts. ), Committee Report 1st House, Substituted |
No significant fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
The bill would require school districts that maintain a website to post a list of required and recommended vaccines as well as known health clinics in the district that offer the influenza vaccine. The bill would exempt school districts from liability for any injury received by a student because of the administration by a district employee or volunteer of a required or recommended vaccine.
