No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would amend the Alcoholic Beverage Code relating to a condition for the granting of a deferred disposition or deferred adjudication for certain alcohol-related offenses by minors. The bill would amend Alcoholic Beverage Code, Section 106 which would provide court officials with a minor’s driver record history involving alcohol related offenses. The bill would take effect September 1, 2007 and apply only to offenses committed on or after the effective date of the Act.

The Department of Public Safety, the Juvenile Probation Commission, and the Alcoholic Beverage Commission do not anticipate significant fiscal impacts to their agencies as a result of complying with the provisions of the bill.


Local Government Impact

No significant fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
