No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would repeal Section 11.40, Alcoholic Beverage Code, removing from statute the requirement that the Texas Alcoholic Beverage Commission give notice of certain permit applications to the county judge of the county in which the applicant's place of business is located, unless the county judge waives the required notice in writing.
