HB1250 by Howard, Charlie (Relating to prohibiting discrimination based on a student's secondary school in awarding certain financial aid for higher education.), As Passed 2nd House

No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would allow graduates of unaccredited high schools (including home school programs) to compete for loans through the B-On-Time Student Loan Program. Provisions of the bill would be absorbed within existing resources.

Local Government Impact

No fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
