No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.
The bill would amend the Code of Criminal Procedure relating to the prosecution of certain sexual offenses. The bill would add a new section regarding child victims of alleged offenses. To the extent the bill would change procedures regarding prosecution of alleged sexual offenses against children, no significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated. The bill would take effect September 1, 2007.
