HB1307 by Hilderbran (Relating to an interim study concerning the breeding of white-tailed and mule deer in this state.), As Introduced

No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would create an interim committee to study the practice of breeding white-tailed deer and mule deer. The committee would consist of nine members, appointed by the Lieutenant Governor, the Speaker of the House, and the Governor, with study results to be provided no later than February 1, 2009.  According to the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department, staff resources to assist the committee would be minimal; therefore, the fiscal implication to the State is not anticipated to be significant. The bill would take effect September 1, 2007.


Local Government Impact

No significant fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
