HB1308 by Hilderbran (Relating to deer breeding operations; providing a penalty.), As Introduced

No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would amend the Parks and Wildlife Code related to permit requirements for the possession, sale, and transfer of white-tailed deer or mule deer. The bill would also establish a deer breeder users group to study issues related to deer breeding practices and to make recommendations to the Texas Parks and Wildlife commission.  According to the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department (TPWD), to the extent department employees’ duties would be expanded to provide staff services for the user group, no significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would take effect September 1, 2007.

No fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
