HB1310 by Hilderbran (Relating to the wasting of certain game, alligators, and shellfish; imposing penalties.), As Engrossed

No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would amend the Parks and Wildlife Code to create new offenses related to waste of alligators, mollusks and crustaceans, and to establish penalties for such violations. The bill would take effect September 1, 2007. 

To the extent the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department would expect to receive additional revenue for civil restitution and criminal penalties imposed by the bill, the fiscal implication to the State is not anticipated to be significant.  


Local Government Impact

No significant fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
