No fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.
The bill would require a municipality with a population of less than 50,000 that annexed land owned by a navigation district without the district's consent and before the effective date of the bill to disannex the land by January 1, 2008, unless the district sends written notice to the municipality that the district elects that the land not be disannexed.
