No fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would amend the Government Code, Chapter 82, relating to the public posting or other display of Texas bar examination results.  The bill would prevent the Board of Law Examiners from public posting the names of examinees who did or did not pass the Texas bar examination.  To the extent the bill would change the procedures of the Board of Law Examiners, no fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.  The bill would take immediate effect if the bill receives the vote of two-thirds the members of each house.  Otherwise, the bill would take effect September 1, 2007.


Local Government Impact

No fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
