John S. O'Brien, Director, Legislative Budget Board
IN RE:
HB1370 by Coleman (Relating to the interagency coordinating council for HIV and hepatitis.), As Introduced
No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.
The bill relates to the composition of the interagency coordinating council for HIV and hepatitis. The bill would require annual, instead of biennial reporting, by the council and would require the Health and Human Services Commission (HHSC) to provide administrative support to the council. It is assumed HHSC would absorb within its existing budget any administrative costs related to the council. Reimbursement for any travel expenses of council members would not be permissible without specific authorization in the General Appropriations Act.
Local Government Impact
No fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
