HB1379 by Deshotel (Relating to human papillomavirus education programs.), As Engrossed

No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would require the Department of State Health Services (DSHS), using existing resources, to produce and distribute informational materials in English and in Spanish regarding human papillomavirus (HPV) vaccinations.

The bill would also require the inclusion of additional information regarding HPV in course materials related to sexually transmitted diseases in the model public health education program for school-aged children developed by DSHS.


Local Government Impact

No fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
