No fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.
The bill would require the Department of State Health Services (DSHS), using existing resources, to produce and distribute informational materials regarding human papilloma virus (HPV) vaccinations. The bill would also require the inclusion of additional information regarding HPV in course materials related to sexually transmitted diseases in the model public health education program for school-aged children developed by DSHS.
