No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would amend the Labor Code relating to the right of an employee who is a parent of a child
enrolled in a special education program to time off from work to meet with certain persons affecting the education of the child.  Based on the analysis of the Texas Workforce Commission and Health and Human Services Commission, it is assumed that duties and responsibilities associated with implementing the provisions of the bill could be accomplished by utilizing existing resources.
