IN RE:
HB1533 by Homer (Relating to a ban on human cloning; providing penalties.), As Introduced
No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.
The bill would prohibit human cloning in the state and would provide penalties for violations of this prohibition. The bill would authorize the attorney general to sue to collect civil penalties. The Office of the Attorney General indicates this could be accomplished with existing resources. It is assumed there would not be a significant revenue impact from penalties.
Local Government Impact
No fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
