No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would amend statute relating to technical defects in instruments conveying real property. Under the bill a person with a right of action for the recovery of real property or an interest in real property conveyed by an instrument with a technical defect must bring suit not later than two years after the day the instrument was filed for record with the county clerk in the county where the property is located.

No significant fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
