No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.
The bill would amend the Family Code to authorize a domestic relations office to provide alternative dispute resolution and parenting coordinator services and to charge a reasonable fee for those services. Provisions of the bill would also stipulate that a domestic relations office is entitled to obtain from the Department of Public Safety a person's criminal history record information.
