No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would amend the Code of Criminal Procedure relating to certain exceptions to the statutory exclusionary rule in criminal prosecutions.  The bill would allow that affidavits upon which warrants are issued be excluded under certain conditions as described in the bill.  To the extent the bill would amend court procedures for determining exceptions in criminal cases, no significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

 

The bill would take effect September 1, 2007.

No significant fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
