No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would require the Department of State Health Services (DSHS) to maintain a submersion injury and drowning prevention database. It is assumed the database could be developed and maintained with the existing resources of the agency.

Local Government Impact

No significant fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
