No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would require school districts to report to the Commissioner of Education on certain non-violent behavioral offenses committed by students in grades Kindergarten through 5.

Local Government Impact

School districts may be required to modify software for reporting purposes.  The average statewide cost for adding data elements to reporting software is $5,000 per element.
