IN RE: | HB1652 by Macias (Relating to the provision of forms for personal financial statements filed with the Texas Ethics Commission.), As Engrossed |
The bill would direct the Texas Ethics Commission to mail a copy of required financial statement forms and instructions to an individual no later than the third business day after the date the agency receives a request for the forms and instructions. In addition, the bill allows the agency to charge a fee for mailing the forms and instructions. The agency indicates that any additional costs associated with implementation of the bill could be covered by increased fee revenue.
