HB1652 by Macias (Relating to the provision of forms for personal financial statements filed with the Texas Ethics Commission.), As Engrossed

No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would direct the Texas Ethics Commission to mail a copy of required financial statement forms and instructions to an individual no later than the third business day after the date the agency receives a request for the forms and instructions. In addition, the bill allows the agency to charge a fee for mailing the forms and instructions. The agency indicates that any additional costs associated with implementation of the bill could be covered by increased fee revenue.
