HB1683 by Hopson (Relating to the repeal of the requirement of a ratio of pharmacists to pharmacy technicians in a Class A pharmacy.), As Engrossed

No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would repeal Section 568.006, Occupations Code, which requires a specific ratio of phamacists to pharmacy technicians in a Class A pharmacy. 

Based on information provided by the Board of Pharmacy, it is assumed that costs related to the duties and responsibilities associated with implementing the provisions of the bill could be covered by utilizing existing resources.

This bill would take effect September 1, 2007.

No fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
