No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill relates to electronic submission of certain information on a death certificate. The bill would modify Section 193, Health and Safety Code, to require the person in charge of interment and the person completing medical certification on a death record to submit the information electronically as specified by the state registrar.
 
The bill would take effect on September 1, 2007.

Local Government Impact

No significant fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
