No fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would amend the Local Government Code to authorize a county to pay, with certain amount limitations, for contracts through anticipation notes authorized by Chapter 1431, Government Code. Under current statute, contracts paid through anticipation notes are subject to competitive bidding provisions.

No significant fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
