HB1772 by Villarreal (Relating to a report to the legislature by the division of workers' compensation of the Texas Department of Insurance of certain information regarding employers and certain insurance companies.), As Engrossed

No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would amend the Labor Code to require the Division of Workers' Compensation at the Texas Department of Insurance (TDI) to report to the Legislature certain information regarding employers and insurance companies.

Based on the analysis of TDI, it is assumed that duties and responsibilities associated with implementing the provisions of the bill could be accomplished by utilizing existing resources.

The bill would take effect September 1, 2007.

No fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
