No fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would amend the Local Government Code to require a municipality that adopts or proposes to adopt an ordinance regarding alarm systems to notify alarm permit holders that the permit holder may contract with a security services provider licensed by the Texas Private Security Board to respond to an alarm.

Local Government Impact

No significant fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
