No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.
The bill would amend the Transportation Code to create as a misdemeanor offense driving on the right of way established by a metropolitan transit authority. Punishment for the offense would be a fine not to exceed $200, confinement in county jail for not more than 30 days, or both.
