No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated. However, affected institutions of higher education would need to absorb the cost of funding the longevity pay provided by ths bill.  The magnitude of this by-institution cost would depend on a combination of each instituion's number of commissioned peace officers and the time-on-job tenure of those commissioned peace officers.

No significant fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
