HB1927 by Chisum (Relating to the liability of manufacturers or sellers of fuel additives and components and fuels.), As Introduced

No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would provide liability protection to manufacturers or sellers of fuel additives, fuel blending components, and fuels that have complied with federal requirements and standards during the formulation or production of the additive or blending component. 
 
The bill does not affect the liability of a person who spills or discharges a fuel additive, fuel blending component, or a fuel for environmental remediation costs, damages from drinking water contamination, or damages from negligence, public or private nuisance, trespass, breach of warranty, breach of contract, or any other theory of liability.

No significant cost or savings is expected as a result of the bill's passage.
