HB2066 by Laubenberg (Relating to the accessibility of initial training and continuing education for constables.), As Introduced

No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would require the institution of higher education chosen by the Texas Commission on Law Enforcement Officers Standards and Educaiton to establish a program for initial training and continuing education for constables to offer the program at geographically diverse locations across the state and on the internet. Provisions of the bill would be implemented within existing resources.
