HB2105 by Chisum (Relating to the issuance of disabled parking placards to certain veterans with disabilities.), As Introduced

No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would allow a person who receives two sets of license plates under Transportation Code § 504.202, relating to specialty plates for veterans with disabilities, to also receive two disabled parking placards.

Based on the analysis of the Texas Department of Transportation, any costs or duties associated with implementing the provisions of the bill could be absorbed within existing resources.

The bill would take effect immediately upon receiving a vote of two-thirds of all members elected to each house or otherwise on September 1, 2007.


Local Government Impact

No fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
