No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill amends the definition of a "qualified voter" under the Election Code. Under the bill an individual who is required to register as a sex offender, on conviction of a felony, must complete the applicable sex offender registration period before being considered a qualified voter.

Local Government Impact

No fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
